It has been a strange spring.
I'm not sure if it was the record rain or the monarchs haven't found my garden yet.
Since my first sighting on 3-28-16, I have only seen 4 monarchs total.
I usually have more monarchs to report. I'm guessing the overwintering monarchs had a hard time coming north. I'm hoping soon the first generation will be here soon. My common milkweed is starting to bloom, most of it is 3-4 ft tall.
