This is a follow-up photo to my earlier report. It shows the fresh-winged female monarch nectaring on some milkweed flowers. She seemed to me to be a newly-born with velvety wings, possibly one of the indoor-reared ones I released in the days prior. It is because of the wonderful, intrepid monarchs journeying from the far North to Mexico, like the valiant egg-laying monarch in my earlier report, that she is now here with her beauty and strength ~~ brightening our world.
