Oh what a treat when looking out my window around 11am this morning, there he was eating grape jelly then dropped down to drink water from our bird bath.

Tryed to get a photo but my movement scared him away.

Flew off to the cottonwood tree on our farm where they had a nest last year.

He is 2 days earlier than last season, May 5th 2016 and May 7th 2015.

I've been waiting with feeder up for nearly a month.
