They're back! First sighting of male ruby-throats. They arrived shortly after each other and visited three of our four feeders. I suspect they were here before because they knew just where to go. We've had the feeders up for about two weeks based on reports of early arrivals and though much appreciated by our chickadees and purple finches the hummers arrived as usual in the first week of May. Deliriously happy to see them again!
