While outside communing with my wild birds (I hand feed multiple species), I heard the familiar "hum/buzz" I've been waiting for all Spring. This male hovered within 10' of me, flew over to the sapling near the "nectaring station" as if to say, "here I am!" I've had a tattoo of a Ruby Throat with Flowers for 22 yrs...they are a Definite Love of mine!
