Sitting at dinner tonight overlooking the deck with a feeder on it and in comes our first guest of the year. He came in and lightly set down on the feeder and breathed a sight of relief that he is home for the summer. We noted the time (7:18PM) and he proceeded to take very lone sips of our fresh nectar. In-between sips he gazed around to see what had changed since last fall. 4 minutes later he flew up to his familiar perch on the tree. Welcome back! Now, where are the girls?
