The same barn swallows finally showed up to our yard. Last year they built a nest on our porch. We left the nest up hoping they'd return. Meanwhile, a robin built her nest on top of the barn swallows nest. When the barn swallows returned yesterday they moved to the other side of the porch to perch. I am wondering if they will build a new nest or if the robin will scare them away. Will wait and see. Glad they are back!
