Oriole (1st Baltimore)
Sightings report image

Date: 05/07/2016

Number: 1

I put a feeder out on April 30th for the first time. I saw some food was gone yesterday morning and was hopeful. This afternoon is the first Baltimore Oriole I have ever seen in our yard. He came to a skylight and fluttered and flashed his colors. I went to check the feeder and he showed up in minutes. He was gorgeous! He posed for photos while sipping on sugar water, Welches Natural Grape Jelly, and a 1/4 piece of orange. Well worth cooking for the bird!
