First male, welcome home, my small, hungry, friend--2:22 PM, sunshine, 62 degrees. Feeders have been outside with red flags, and pink survey tape since April 25th 2016. One day late? Maybe not--our hummingbird boys usually appear by the south Windows when they arrive. This year these windows are covered with white, plastic, tablecloths--so Little Mr. Bluebird will cease bumping his pretty, blue, head against his reflection. The things we do for the small, bird, friends we love :-)
