Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/09/2016

Number: 3

A male came to feed at 5 a.m. and continued to visit throughout the day. One female showed up around 7 and was promptly chased away by another female. The 3 took turns coming and going all day. Also had a Baltimore Oriole try to get in on the action. Found him perched on one of my hummingbird feeders trying to drink. Yes, I will be picking up some grape jelly and a nectar feeder tomorrow for him.
