The 1st hummingbird that I have seen this year (though believe that I saw 1 briefly last evening) at 6:55 PM at feeder. Observed the male from about 10 feet while it was nectaring.
With brownish undersides, I believe that it was a male Rufous Hummingbird- especially after looking at photos of a Rufous. Will want to see it again before commiting to this ID seeing as how they are not native to this part of the country.
