Hummingbird, Nectaring from Flowers
Sightings report image

Date: 05/10/2016

Number: 1

This male Ruby throated hummingbird nectared from the Lonicera, Major Wheeler honeysuckle. I saw him again just before sunset nectaring from each and every flower. He then perched, cleaned his beak on the tree limb, flew to the feeder for one last sip, then off to roost for the night. It was a joy to watch.
