Should have reported some of this earlier, but we were out of town. To catch up: 2nd year common milkweed (planted in the fall of 2014) was about 8 inches tall by end of April 2016. Today it's over one foot tall. NEW common milkweed SEEDS planted around April 1, 2016 are now showing as one-inch tall two-leaf plants. Asclepias tuberosa Butterfly Weed plants (that we put in last fall) are growing and are now over 14 inches tall. They first showed up in mid-April 2016. Now, all we need is a few monarchs in the next month or two :)
