This is the earliest date that we've seen a hummingbird. Fortunately I put my feeders out on the first day of May. It looked like a young male. It stopped by for a short drink about 5:00PM 5/5/16 and left. Did not see it again until 5/12/16 at around 7:00AM. The weather has been so sporatic, it appears that the hummingbirds don't know whether to stay or go.
