I saw the first one as I looked out the kitchen door. He saw flying around my tulips. I feed them every year so I got right to making up my first batch for the year. Once I put the feeders out he sat perch above it and every time another hummingbird flew by it he would chase it away. Now I have several feeders hanging. He still is guarding the feeders but there are too many so the other hummingbirds have a better chance of eating.
