Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/22/2016

Number: 1

I saw it while I was outside putting out birdseed, and it was buzzing around where I normally have my nectar feeders... it was near the "favorite" feeder. But alas! I had not yet put the feeders out due to the chilly weather we'd been having. I quickly went inside, brewed up & chilled my nectar, put out all six various-shaped/designs of hummingbird feeders, filled with the freshly made sugar-water.
I have not seen any hummingbirds since then, but my nectar level is about two inches lower in the "favorite" feeder (altho still the same in all the other feeders)... so I'm hoping it(they) have come when I'm not watching!
