At 4pm heading into work I seen my first monarch of the year. I did try and get a picture of it but could not relocate it. This is a day earlier then last year although about 15 miles south of the spot I seen my first one last year. This one was riding a south wind and heading north. I thought they would be late this year but very happy to see them here, a lot of healthy milkweed awaits them.
