In the fall, I spread thousands of milkweed seeds on a cleared area along our pond berm. I was thrilled and surprised to find a half dozen sprouts about 2-3 inches tall. Also growing near these seed grown milkweed sprouts are five milkweed plugs that I planted about a month ago.
