Must have just emerged from its chrysalis and was resting on this small succulent in our backyard in the morning when I was watering. Almost didn't see it and I wasn't aware of a chrysalis so I've got to keep my eyes out for them all the time now that we have a lot of milkweeds in our backyard! looks to be a female from what I can tell.
