We had a pair of robins nesting in our rhododendron at work in Londonderry, NH. There were 3 beautiful eggs. Yesterday I had an opportunity to photograph the nest and all the eggs were gone. They were due to hatch over this long Memorial Day weekend. I am devastated something got the eggs. There were no signs of any shells around or underneath the nesting site and the nest looks undisturbed. What would have carried them away without damaging the nest ? It appears that the pair have now deserted the nest.
