Community Fisheries and Wildlife Involvement Program funded our Monarch Conservation Project.

We have a 6'x8' greenhouse where we grow Common Milkweed. The monarchs have found their way into the greenhouse and lay their eggs. The larva emerge and are protected from the elements and predators until they turn into chrysalis and emerge as butterflies.

One member also provides the public with educational information and milkweed plants.
