Planted several milkweed rhizomes in an old gravel pit area last fall, they are starting to emerge. I also planted many seeds in this area and in a 6' x 6' garden plot closer to our house.
The gardens have many flowers for the monarchs to feed.
We just bought this farm land last fall and hope to continually increase the milkweed area throughout the years.
