I was returning home on my daily walk when I saw the monarch flying above me at the road and then around the lawn of my neighbor at latitude 42.082542°and longitude -83.715881° The butterfly was wandering among the trees in the yard at a height of 15-20', as if looking for a place to roost. I continued walking and did not see if it did, in fact, roost in a tree there.
(I'm a retired high school biology teacher who has had a lifelong interest in all forms of life.) Please note, the map that came up with on this data entry page showed Milan, Italy, and NOT Milan, MI!
