male hummer approached a flower pot full of lantana & gazanias as I watered a nearby pot...it came to within a foot of me & kind of hovered there for a few seconds and then took off. Perhaps he was distracted by the water. I was happy to see him, the hummer activity here is the least it's been since we've been feeding them, almost 10 years now.
