I have not seen a Monarch yet but went looking for eggs today and found 8 in 2 different locations in Hartford WI. The Milkweed was about 18" high and the eggs were found mainly on the 3rd set of leaves from the top.
Now to sight my first Monarch. They must be around, their eggs are proof of that.
