I don't see a category for this one. Today I saw and observed a pair of Cassins Sparrows in my front yard. At first I thought they were song sparrows but then I noticed the different behavior and with closer observation I was able to identify them as Cassins. I have never seen them before and they don't hang in these parts. Are they off course because of the weather situation in Texas and that part of the country?
