Had given up on an adult sighting, so I harvested a couple of healthy milkweed plants to experiment with freezing leaves for future use. Just about to wash the leaves and voila! I had been visited last week by a female and missed it.
Sorry I don't have a better camera. Looks like the egg just hatched today.
