FINALLY saw my first Monarch yesterday at Lakeside Park in Big Lake. It was too high up as it flew by for me to identify if it was male or female. On my way back home from the lake, I spotted a 2nd one close to home (Princeton) and will record that sighting as well. So happy to see them show up around here. My milkweed and nectar bearing plants are all ready for them to stop by!
