Had just seen my FIRST Monarch of the season about 2 hours before this one while I was in Big Lake. Saw this one on my way home. It was too far away to identify if it was male or female. There's a lot of milkweed and wild flowers in this area and it's also only about 3 miles from home, so now I'll be checking my milkweed for eggs twice a day.
