11:32 One Monarch Butterfly landed on a patch of duckweed in our small pond for a minute or so, then perched on a nearby shrub for about two minutes before flying off. This was first Monarch Butterfly we've seen here in many years. This spring, we planted two native milkweed plants in a big planter box (the plants are about 6-8 inches tall and are not yet flowering). This Monarch appeared to be pretty "fresh." Very exciting!
