Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/12/2016

Number: 1

I found the first specimens of Eupilotes battoides in the East Kootenay, near the American border off highway 93. I went back to the location today to collect a few more specimens and was surprised when a Monarch flew past me. This is the first I have seen in the area since 2007.
