first sighting of an adult butterfly of the year, a single adult visiting the milkweed patch. No photo available but I'm sure it's not a Viceroy. Common milkweed about to open, garden-specimens of Orange Butterflyweed just opened their first flowers yesterday. Echinacea not open yet, buds are forming tho.
