The first caterpillar was seen on Friday. This photo was taken today, Monday. There mostly male monarchs at this site. I am seeing a few eggs, and some chewed leaves, but have only found 2 caterpillars

There are fewer adult monarch than last year. I am seeing 2-6 per day whereas last year there was a week we had 3 dozen monarchs.
