I have raised and released two monarchs.....one male and one female.....but this us the first adult monarch I have seen. She was nectaring on butterfly weed and common milkweed in my yard. Wish she would have been ovipositing.

Usually I would have found many eggs by this time and released 40-50 monarchs. So disappointing this year!
