Saw Monarch laying eggs on milkweed in backyard about 2 weeks ago and found one larva on Friday, July 1. Hoping to see more larva, but not too confident. Disappointed I didn't see more butterflies. Brought larva inside in a big plastic jar, a couple of gallons, and it is eating very well. Hoping it'll continue. Will keep posted.
