We initiated a rescue of a bald eagle in Columbus Ohio, along Dodridge Ave. near the Olentangy River.
The eagle hit a cell tower guide wire and plummeted to the ground inside the tower's fenced area.
ODNR and OSU came to the rescue and the bird, about 2 years old, is being treated for a fracture to the right wing.
ODNR will release the bird back to the area once it has recovered.
