Early evening in the garden, we watched a male and female monarch briefly interacting in a short dance but mostly just nectaring a few feet apart, one on common and one on swamp (Ice Ballet) milkweed. The male also sat on sunflowers, raspberry bushes, a lantana, a lilac, and a horseradish. I have photos, but they always crash the app.
