Today while checking the milkweed plants in my garden I noticed evidence of monarch cats feeding in the leaves. I don't know how I overlooked the eggs but I did find one caterpillar that is probably about 8 days old, I'm sorry I missed the others before predators got to them. I will be more vigilant now I know the females are in the area. At least it's a start. I brought the cat in the house to raise.
