In our Sanctuary (1 acre portion of our 5 acres)this morning between 10:30 &11:30 mostly cloudy, light breeze & 76°f twice bserved 2 male monarchs flitting above our common milkweed/grasses/thistle/goldenrod settling on all. At one point both males met up (photo) but after a few seconds each went their separate way.
I saw two males again within that hour...possibly same 2.
Between 4 & 5 pm again went out to check activity & again saw two male monarchs simultaneously.
