Second evening in a row that we've seen a monarch flitting back and forth over the marsh milkweed in the rain garden near Winton Centre. July 8 we saw three. This appeared to be a female although we weren't close enough to see for sure. It was about 8 pm and the monarch landed momentarily on bushes including the milkweed. Didn't appear to be laying eggs but I'm not sure we'd recognize if it had been.
