I found the egg on a Milkweed in a neighborhood alley, however it appears the egg is disintegrating. A friend that also raises Monarchs mentioned she has found a number of incompetent eggs as well. This coupled with the adult I mentioned earlier suggests endocrine disruptor impacts.
