Saw monarch butterfly passing through our front yard around 1:20pm. A couple of hours later the monarch was seen in our butterfly garden flitting between milkweed plants. She stayed for about 1/2 hour. After she left I found 2 eggs. I didn't look too hard as I have over 300 milkweed plants. I'll check again in the next few days. It's very hot & humid here not pleasant to be out in the garden.
Butterfly coloring was faded.
