Saw one adult monarch on the snail trail in Franklin's Garden on Centre Island in Toronto. It flew by too fast to get a picture so cannot confirm if it was male or female. The snail trail is covered with milkweed. I checked a few but did not find any eggs. I wasn't able to look thoroughly as I was on a school trip.
