First adult monarch sighting this summer. Female ovipositing on multiple Asclepias tuberosa plants and nectaring on zinnias and purple coneflowers. I was so excited at seeing my first monarch this summer and watching her lay eggs that I forgot to get my camera! When I went back she was gone.
