Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)

Date: 07/11/2016

Number: 2

I found 2 monarch eggs on the underside of common milkweed leaves right next to my apartment. I removed both of the leaves with the eggs intact, and brought them both indoors to rear (There are abundant predators outside where they were deposited). Both eggs hatched two days later indoors, I will follow up with pictures when the caterpillars are larger and when the butterflies finally emerge.
