Monarch Waystation #271 reports the first monarch caterpillar of this season, 5th instar on Asclepias curassavica, front yard. No others have were found in an informal search of other milkweeds, no feeding signs obvious. It's got plenty of swamp, purple and common milkweeds plus butterflyweed to eat. Welcome!
