Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 07/29/2016

Number: 1

Monarch Waystation #271 reports the sighting of the 2nd monarch caterpillar of the season, a 5th instar in the BACK yard, feeding on Asclepias tuberosa. Seems to have the back to itself, no obvious feeding signs or other caterpillars. Plenty of Swamp & purple milkweed and butterflyweed to eat. But the Swamp MW is getting old fast, so pick up the pace, little one! Welcome!
