I did not see the mother.
But eggs were found. I now have 3 as chrysalis from the first group. Currently I have 15 caterpillars from a second group and there are more eggs.
Last year they did not show up until first week in August. I was pleased and surprised to have them come earlier this year.
I still have not see a Monarch butterfly and look forward to the first three children making their final transition.
