This year, I have created 4 butterfly gardens, 3 from seeds and 1 of established plants, to help butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. They are all in trouble and I wanted to make more of an effort to help them. This is in addition to many other nectar plants we have around the house and yard we have for them. We have a large field off the backyard with many wildflowers for pollinators and many servie as late season nectar sources for Monarch Butterflies as they migrate through going south. Also, I have worked hard to establish 3 large Common Milkweed patches in our field to help Monarch Butterflies if they choose to lay eggs on them.
