Have been seeing more monarchs than usual in Texas for this time of year. First noticed numbers of them July 16th driving from Austin to Abilene. One was seen in Buffalo Gap July 17 among the huge Oak trees. Since back in Austin I have seen two more. One July 29 heading south and another on August 1st, flitting around at dusk.
